Our philosophy… treat people the way you want to be treated and do what you say you’re going to do. In 1959, Regis began in Dallas, Texas. It realized the dream of Frank and Mary Kehr, whose vision it was to provide shop supplies to their customers, reasonably priced and promptly delivered.

Today, more than 48 years later, our philosophy is still pretty simple — treat people like you want to be treated, and do what you say you’re going to do. That’s why we have customers who have stayed with us since the beginning… and on to second and third generations of craftsmen who share our beliefs in the way to do business.

Mr. Kehr grew up as a farm boy in Kansas during the Depression, where he learned a lot about hard work, integrity and love of his country. This led him to the service and defense of the United States as an Air Force glider pilot during World War II. He enlisted in 1942 and for two years, instructed other pilots while stateside. He also served in the European theatre in England, France and Germany from 1944 to 1945. He entered the automotive aftermarket shortly after the war and began what would become his life’s work.
